Case Study LEGO
Expectations
LEGO came to TEMA looking for assistance in the recruitment process of seasonal staff for their contact centre in Berkshire. Due to an increase in customer demand between August and January, they needed multilingual professionals, mainly German speakers to provide the great customer service they are renowned for.
Process
Recruitment Manager at TEMA, Anna Ceder, planned and managed a rigorous search process to ensure the most qualified and suited candidates were put forward for the numerous positions. Anna used her already extensive database but also went further afield to find the right people. After the initial recruitment process, LEGO were so satisfied with the service provided and the high calibre staff put forward that they appointed TEMA to assist them in the recruitment process the following year as well.
Results
As a leading toy manufacturer, LEGO can only afford to provide the best and most professional service. This is always kept in mind when recruiting for the different positions. The candidates put forward are selected because of their cultural and linguistic knowledge and not the least because they suit the company culture and vision. All candidates employed have been successful in the positions they were recruited for.
In the Client’s Words
As a Recruitment Manager for the best Toy Company in the world, I was naturally a little cautious when using a new (to me) agency to assist with my seasonal roles in our Contact Centre. In the last years we have favored more direct recruitment methods, for two reasons: Quality and Cost. Our company ethos of ‘only the best is good enough’ also extends to the vendors we choose to work with. Working with Anna Ceder has been a real pleasure and quite refreshing. After coming to visit me and really understanding what am I looking for, spending time with our employees, and really getting a feel of our environment and company values, she has found me great Customer Service Advisors to join our team. I have worked with numerous agencies in the past, and I have to say not one of them comes close to TEMA in terms of their ability to get us, and get it right.” Recruitment Manager, LEGO
