As the experts in making global expansion happen, TEMA ponders the question: what really separates successful exporting and expansion efforts from the rest? Strong knowledge and understanding of Market Research, Legal, Regulatory, Documentary, Strategic Planning and Market Entry can be pinpointed as some of the main areas influencing success.
In order to demystify these areas and increase knowledge for those looking to export, TEMA is delighted to announce details of an upcoming event organised by UK Trade & Investment (UKTI). A free event, ‘Exporting Made Easier’ offers Yorkshire companies with the vision to grow overseas the opportunity to network with other companies across the region, to increase your knowledge of areas vital to successful exporting – expertise that may not exist within your team.
UKTI in association with its regional partners including TEMA, will showcase the support services that can help your company save time, money and ensure that you are following best practice in international trade.
The event will be held on Thursday 1st December 8:00am – 10:30am at the Great Victoria Hotel, Bradford, BD1 1JX and will give you the opportunity to enhance your export business and hear and meet local specialists from UK Trade and Investment, in addition to HM Revenues and Customs, Chamber International, University of Bradford, Enterprise Europe Network and HSBC Bank plc MA.

The age of the internet has given rise to the provenance of online business. With many companies and industries establishing themselves online, and some solely conducting their trade over the internet, there are few sectors that have escaped an online upgrade. With increasing benefits over high street trade; cost, staffing, marketing etc. there isn’t an area of business that hasn’t found a way to market itself online. The travel industry is one such sector. With over 30% (and increasing) of all travel booking taking place online, it is an area which needs the expertise of a dedicated travel SEO to build or modify a site which will give the operator a good conversion rate.
With many different travel businesses offering the same holidays and travel deals, finding a way to make your site stand out from the crowd and then to get traffic directed to your site isn’t the simplest of tasks. With the majority of web users predisposed to the attitude that the further up a SERP page a site lies, the more reliable it is, the importance of optimising your site cannot be stressed enough.
Making use of a travel SEO is one of the fundamental steps needed in marketing in travel and tourism. With the travel industry being a multimillion pound industry, there will obviously be thousands of other similar businesses with the same goals as you wanting to be a part of this. Overhauling, and finding new and relevant keywords for your site is essential if you wish to direct traffic to your site that will lead to sales. Experts in the field, a travel SEO will ensure that you have the optimum keywords needed, relevant links and a site that can be easily read by the search engines. With a little help, your online reputation can be boosted, leading to a higher SERP ranking and an increase in sales.
